The 2011 edition of the Los Angeles County Fair saw the return of rodeo for the second year in it’s featured Western Days and Rodeo Nights. Organized by Annee Capelle of Heavens Ranch and Heaven's Ranch Productions, the Open Rodeo offerered both first class competition, which included several regular Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association competitors, and gave the visitors an evening of non-stop entertainment. Entrants in an open rodeo are not limited by membership in a particular association. You will find people just graduated from high school all the way up to National Finals Rodeo competitors. The roughstock provided by Hauser Rodeo Company was the equal to any in the country and proved to be some of the ranckest around. The Fair rodeo provided a level of excitement equal to many larger, more well known events and the Fair, the organizers and sponsors should be commended for putting on a highly competitive and crowd pleasing event.
